It's
really starting to come together. They put the glass in all
the windows this week and hung most of the doors. The photo
"Control Room Window" is just that, with a shot looking into
the live room. The glass for that window took an entire day
to clean and install. The Control Room side is 3 separate
panes of 1/2" laminated glass with a silicone bead at each
joint. The Live room side is 3 pieces of 3/8" tempered glass
with a silicone bead joining the panes.

The
"Live Room Window" photo shows the other side of the window
looking into the control room. You can see the right surround
speaker box and the machine niche framed and insulated. They
are installing the birch Helmholtz resonators in the rear
corners and the RPG Diffractals along the back wall of the
control room today.

The
two "Birch Panels in Live Room" photos are two different angles
of the wall treatment I am using for the "live end" of the
live room. The panels are hung on framing stuffed with more
fiberglass insulation. The other half of the room will have
cloth covered Owens Corning 703 panels. The crew will start
working on those panels and the ones for the iso booths and
the Control Room ceiling next week. We think we're about a
month away from being done. As soon as they get the carpet
laid in the Coontrol Room I will break down my existing studio
and begin the wiring at the new place. There is a light at
the end of the tunnel!

Cheers
