This is studio update 3.

Well here we are with the next update. Check out the control room
progress........

The splay walls start to get shaped. It would be 1/2 slot resonators
and half bass trap. You can see the timber slats in place as well as the
hangers.

In the next 4 shots you can see the front wall of the control room
start to get shape. The angled soffit walls were built using John's
design. One side was more challenging than the other since I had to work
around the poll.

 

Next is the back wall. Hangers on both corners, insulation at and
angle in the middle covered with cloth. No diffusers in the back since the
control room is not that long. The two corners are not identical since I
had to work around another poll again.

 

Here you can see the false ceiling frame at an angle as well as
the 4" insulation. A layer of thin plastic and finally the cloth....

Well that is where Silva Productions recording studio stands so
far...Hopefully It will be done in the next month... Luis.
