Joe had a problem -

he's a drummer who has neighbours - so he modified his garage to shut out the noise - Note: this is NOT for recording purposes...this is only for the purposes of not driving the neighbors crazy.

As Joe said:

I used R-11 insulation as it is a little lighter. I don't believe a garage door will support a layer of R-13...too heavy. The R-11 also came with paper tack strips that fold out on each side so it was easy to staple it to the plywood.

Now his neighbours are happy and so is Joe
