Hey Lou, got a question over here @ Exit 4.

Isn't "chips" the enharmonic equivalent of "french fries"?

Don't leave me hangin' here, I'm trying to place an order on the phone and it just so happens the order taker is a transplant from the UK!

Much props as always ;)

Yes my friend, just as, 'crisps' are enharmonically equivalent to 'potato chips! :? :?

This thread is a massive resource. I am in the design phase, and by reading your so well documented journey, I have learned so much. Your attention to detail is astounding and I am sure shows in any project you are a part of. Thank you for posting all of this. I too, will use this as a resource while starting my own journey.
You've made it abundantly clear that anything can happen building a room. I really felt for you on the HT/RC post. But the end result, I am sure, will deliver many years of reliable decision making and client satisfaction. Thanks for sharing.

W

OK Lou. I've had quite enough! It has been over a month since we have heard from you, and you were to update us on your mic cabinet, remember? Hehe... Send me a PM with your email address too so I can contact your directly. Also, weren't you supposed to set up a web site?

Let's get cracking man!

Lou,

I just sat down for an entire evening with several nice cups of herbal tea and read this entire thread. Four hours later I feel that I understand a great deal more about the process of actually building a studio. Thank you very much for your attention to detail (not to mention the bazillion pictures).

I even sat my wife down and showed it to her...so that she would know how reasonable my project is in comparison. :P

Thanks again,
Richard

Morning chaps - I hope, as always, you're all doing fine.

A bit 'off-topic' I'm afraid, but basically, I'm trying to do a proper update with a few more shots, finally answer all the questions and above all, upload some mp3 soundclips for your critique!

Can any of you recommend a good hosting site without all the pop-ups and endless 'garb' of registration, forms etc? I have four clips (32 bars each), all just over 1 mb in size.

I'm having no luck at all and would be grateful for any suggestions. :horse:

Many thanks,

Regards,

Lou. 8)
