Just curious,i have a 3' space between the cloud and the back in the control room.
You had mention space couplers for the live room but what you think i should put in the control room.

I am shure there is some reflection coming off there.

What you think would work better Skyline diffusser or omnifusser or space coupler.

Also is there a DIY out there for omnifusser?

I am just doing these in the meantime till i get delivery of the trunk rubbers.

maybe just a few 2'x2'x4" absorbers on the ceiling spaced about 6-12" apart (assuming you're talking about the ceiling...) if it's the back wall, consider a narrow cloud hung down and angled a bit to cover that without killing it.

Well i have a huge cloud hanging over the console and it continued a little pass the mix position.
I doesn;t have a hard back like i see you recomended to others i just figure i could get to that if it turns out i really need it.

So i was thinking if i should go with some diffusers for the rest of the ceiling as opposed to more absortion.

In a way i was looking for a little cool project to keep me busy till i get the trunk rubber

The skyline and omnifusers would look coool,but i need it to have FUNCTION too.

Whats your recomendation?
The room sounds very good so far and the low end seems pretty even too,even though i did a Fuzzmeasure test with my Laptop and the curve looks weird in the low end.
But i used the internal mic and speaker on the laptop.
I'll do a better measure with REW later.

So Glenn, what frequency range should i build these skyline for.\

The calculator that i have allows a range of freq to be plugeg in the it gives the lentgh of the pieces.

I was thinking 5k to 15k what you think.

that sounds reasonable but maybe 3K up?

Hey Glenn,is there a cheaper place to do mic panel cheaper than Redco in Jersey?

very nice. on the pre-punch mic panels? i think there are quite a few companies selling them - parts express would be good - if you're looking for fully assembled though there aren't as many. ProCo etc. but RedCo is reputable.

for some reason i failed to recognize you were in Atl... i was there back in late May and could have stopped in... next time...

Hello Guys,
I need some help setting up REW.

I am trying to use my portable rig with my laptop but i cant get it to cal the mic.

I am using a Mbox2 with monitor out going to my speakers and i pluged a Rhode classic mic into mic input 1.
Mic is set to omni.
I do have a radio shack analog meter but i was not getting anything out the line out.

The wirring diagram on their site seem to be more about home set up.

Anyone wants to share how they set thiers up and got it to work.

Anyway this is a curve i got with fuzz measure using the same set up.

Glenn how does it look so far?? the mic is in the listening position.

sorry for the delay. day job. did you follow the loopback instructions? it's important to getting the PC hardware neutralized. if you cannot get the sound meter wired in, just use it for general level setting so you know the levels in REW are pretty close compared to what you're seeing in the meter.

once you do that, find a place where you can host the mdat file and i'll take a look at it.
