i have a cube shaped control room that measures 14 'w x 14'3" L. The flooring is wood vinyl, my ceilings are 16' in height but there is a false ceiling at 12' which has a typical ceiling tile grid. The ceiling tiles have been replaced with OC 703 2'x4' covered with burlap. As you can see in the attached PDF there is a 2 pane angled control room window between my control room and the Live Room. My question is what are my best options for treating this room without rebuilding. I already have 10 Broad Band absorbers. I would like to build superchunks bass traps as well. I have Event ASP 8;s monitors on speaker stands currently. I want to achieve the best sound and mix room possible. I need my treatment placement and design to be on point and capable of providing a good mixing suite. What are my options in light of the window and door placement that are already in place. This was an existing studio before I started leasing it. My budget is $1500.
